Motorcycle Rack Warranty
Features
The model 210CR, 410CR, 610CR, and
722BK Cycle Racks hitch to your frame-mounted 2"x2" class III or
better receiver hitch (use a class IV or V receiver hitch for model
610CR and the model 722BK 2-place Cycle Rack). The Cycle Rack tilts
for easy loading with no heavy lifting or hazardous ramps. It has an
extender to reduce the incline on taller vehicles and it also
prevents the channel from leveling before the rear wheel is on
board. The slam latch locks the channel in the leveled position
while you attach your tie-down straps to the horizontal bars for
safe transporting of your bike(s). The motion reducer bolt, when
tight, reduces the side-to-side motion in the receiver hitch and
also discourages theft of the rack.
Instructions
Attach the Cycle Rack to your host
vehicle by first removing the 5/8" receiver-hitch pin. Then insert
the hitch bar into the receiver hitch of your vehicle until the
pinholes in both units are aligned. Reinsert the hitch pin and its
safety securing R clip. Tighten the bolt on the side of the hitch
bar to reduce any movement in the hitch.
The channel extender slides out from under the Cycle Rack channel 16
inches. This feature allows the motorcycle's rear wheel to be on
board before the cycle reaches the balance point and also reduces
the angle of incline. The extender is held in place by a 5/16" pin
connected by a small chain. After pulling out the extender, go to
the opposite end and release the slam latch while holding onto the
Cycle Rack so it does not tilt too quickly. Slowly allow the channel
to tilt until the end of the channel extender touches the ground. Be
sure the latch is in its ready-to-lock position. You are now ready
to load your bike.
Push your bike up onto the rack until the front wheel is all the way
forward in the wheel hoop and the channel rocks forward to engage
the slam latch. Hook your tie-down straps from the handle bars to
the tie-down bar, pull the tie-down straps tight while rocking the
bike side to side until the front spring shocks are compressed.
Secure another strap to the rear wheel, going through the wheel and
around the rack. Slide the extender in and reinsert the 5/16" pin.
You are now ready to go!

Tilt-a-Rack® Mobility Scooter Carrier Warranty
The Scooter Rack
attaches to your host vehicle by removing the 5/8" hitch pin, then
inserting the hitch bar into the receiver hitch of your vehicle
until the pinholes in both units are aligned. Reinsert the hitch pin
and its safety securing hair pin. Tighten the bolt on the side of
the hitch bar to reduce any movement in the hitch.
You are now ready to
load the scooter!
1. The deck
extender slides out from under the Scooter Rack 18 inches. This
feature allows the Scooter Rack to reach the curb when parking
parallel and also reduces the angle of incline. The deck extender
has a safety securing pin on the left side. Pull up on this
spring-loaded pin and slide the extender out to its fully extended
position.
2. The slam latch
safely holds the Scooter Rack from tilting. Under the left side of
the Scooter Rack, release the slam latch while holding onto the
Scooter Rack so it does not tilt too quickly. Slowly allow the deck
to tilt until the end of the deck extender touches the ground. Be
sure the slam latch is in its ready-to-lock position.
3. The end rails
are located at both sides of the Scooter Rack. The end rail on the
right side is a removable rail that is taken off and set aside. The
end rail on the left side is an extension rail. This rail may be
extended out 8 inches. Remove the securing pins, extend the rail,
and reinsert the pins. This allows the scooter to roll forward
enough to pass the balance point and safely stop while the Scooter
Rack levels itself and locks into position. After the rack has
locked level, the scooter should be repositioned, allowing both end
rails to be returned to their original position. Slide the deck
extender in until the spring-loaded pin locks it into place. Tie
down the scooter and you are ready to go.
4. A hinging device
just behind the receiver hitch has a three-position 5/8" pin. When
the pin is in its primary position, the rack is locked in place
horizontally. The 2nd position allows the rack to float or lift
upward when the vehicle encounters uneven road surfaces that might
cause the rear of the rack to drag. The 3rd position allows the
Scooter Rack to fold up vertically when transporting empty.
5. The leveling
bolt is a very simple device to use. With a slight adjustment of
the bolt height, a rack can be leveled. An unlevel rack occurs when
a receiver hitch is not exactly parallel with the ground.
NEW OPTIONAL
FEATURE:
Height adjuster hitch bar is available for either the model
500RV or 350RV. This new option will allow the rack to be either
raised or lowered 4 inches for more versatility. This height
adjuster hitch bar is also a reasonably priced after-market feature
for a previously purchased Scooter Rack. The standard hitch bar and
the height adjuster hitch bar can be ordered for class II or class
III receivers.
