Can I ride my mobility scooter
outside?
Yes, scooters are designed to be ridden inside and outside
How far can I go on one full
charge of the batteries?
That depends on the type of terrain you're on, your weight, the
temperature, and other conditions, please consult the specifications
for each scooter to view their projected full charge ranges.
How long will a set of batteries
last?
That depends on how often you charge them, and the type of use
you give your scooter, but generally, a set of batteries should last
one to one and a half years if you charge them daily.
What if I have problems with my
scooter?
All our scooters are covered by a comprehensive warranty.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, a full selection of spare parts is on hand.
How can I pay for a scooter?
We accept payment by cash, check, money order, bank transfer,
VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS. Online payments via PayPal
allows you to use VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICA EXPRESS AND E
CHECK.
Can I ride my scooter on the
road?
The scooter is a "pedestrian mobility device", and is intended
for use on sidewalks. You should only ride on the roadway when no
sidewalk is available. Always ride with care.
Do I need a license for my
scooter?
No license is required to operate a scooter.
Can I carry passengers on my
scooter?
No, the scooter is rated for just the driver.
Is there any maintenance
required with the scooters?
The only user maintenance is to charge the batteries daily,
check tire pressures weekly (for inflatable tire models), and keep machine clean with a damp,
soft cloth.
Can I ride the scooter in the
rain or snow?
Yes, with some conditions: Do not ride if rain is heavy and may
possibly soak the control panel. Ride very slowly through puddles.
Do not ride if snow is deeper than 1/2 the height of your wheels.
Can I park the scooter inside my
home?
Yes, the scooter is equipped with sealed lead acid batteries
designed for indoor use.
Can I take my scooter on an
airplane or cruise ship?
Yes, but you will probably be asked to equip your scooter with
"Gel cell" type batteries. These are available from our parts
center.
